Sweet croutons "Mom's breakfast"
This is a dish my mom often made us as kids for breakfast. And now I find them amazingly delicious. Also, this recipe is great for utilizing loaf and white bread that has lain fallow and lost its freshness.
These croutons are great for breakfast, a light snack, or just when you want something sweet but don't have time to mess around with the dough.
These croutons are a great way to make breakfast.
Constituents:
- bacon - 6-8 pieces
- milk - 1/4 tbsp.
- sugar - 4 tsp. (if you like it sweeter, you can use more) .
- egg - 1 piece .
Cooking:
Whisk the egg, sugar and milk well.
Cut the loaf or white bread (it can be a little dried out) into 1-1,5 cm thick slices.
Pour a little vegetable oil into a frying pan. Set a medium temperature of heating. Dip a piece of bread on both sides in the prepared mixture, put it on the frying pan and brown it on both sides.
Serve hot. These croutons are delicious by themselves and with all kinds of jams, jams, etc.
Enjoy!
