Feijoa and apple compote
A useful and tasty compote. If you like feijoa in its pure form, you don't need to add apples, but if you're not a fan of this exotic fruit, dilute its flavor with apples.
Compote ingredients (for 3 liters):
- feijoa - 2 handfuls
- apples - 2-3 pieces .
- sugar - 1 tbsp .
Cooking feijoa and apple compote:
Wash the feijoa thoroughly and remove the keratinized sepals.
Peel the apples and cut into slices. Put feijoa and apples in a 3-liter saucepan, pour water and add sugar. Bring the compote to the boil and simmer for about 10 minutes.
Boil for about 10 minutes.
This compote can be served either warm or cold.
