Almond strips with chocolate
Would you believe me if I told you that you can make extremely delicious cookies in 25 minutes? Well, it is possible! By the way, it uses only egg whites, so if you have leftover whites after making, for example, lemon curd or chocolate chip cookies, this recipe is a great way to recycle them. Although the cookies are so delicious, they should be made regardless of the leftovers. That being said, the cookies are very light and weightless, they literally melt in your mouth. All in all, highly recommended! Just if you make these cookies for kids, don't smear chocolate on them - it's not recommended for kids under three years old!

Insert ingredients:
batter:
- egg whites - 4 pcs.
- sugar - 40 gr.
- almond flour - 50 gr.
- sugar powder - 50 gr.
- flour - 30 gr.
- almond petals - a handful
decor:

Cooking almond strips with chocolate:
Whisk the whites with a mixer into a stable foam, then add the sugar in small portions, without stopping whisking. The mixture will become thick and smooth.
In a separate bowl, sift together the powdered sugar, flour, and almond powder and mix everything together.
Add the dry ingredients to the whipped whites and mix very gently. Don't stir too long - the batter will become very runny.

Line a baking tray with parchment.
Carefully transfer the ready dough into a pastry bag and using a 9-10 mm round nozzle, pipe about 8 cm long strips of dough onto the baking tray.
Add the dough to the baking tray.
Sprinkle almond petals on top.
Bake the cookies in a preheated 160 degree oven for about 10 – 15 minutes.
Take the finished cookies out and cool completely.
In a microwave or water bath, melt the dark chocolate. You can use any kind of chocolate, but I think white or milk chocolate would be too sweet.
Any chocolate is fine.
Spread the strips on the back side with melted chocolate and place in the refrigerator until the chocolate sets.
Have a good appetite!"
