Sand cake with jam
The recipe for this shortbread pie is very simple, and the pie itself is quick to make. But with a little time and food, you'll have a pie that's perfect for a family tea party or for feeding unexpected guests. And the products used for its preparation are available and inexpensive.
Composition:
- margarine - 200 gr.
- salt - 0,5 tsp.
- baking soda extinguished with vinegar - 0.5 tsp.
- sugar - 0,7 tbsp.
- eggs - 2 pcs.
- flour - about 2,5-3 tbsp.
- jam - 0.5 liter
Cooking sand cake with jam:
Soften the margarine, add eggs, salt, sugar and mix well. Add enough flour so that the dough does not stick to your hands. Knead the dough well. Cover a baking tray with baking paper or foil. Divide the dough into two parts – a larger and a smaller one. Roll out the larger part or stretch it with your hands on the baking tray and make small sides of the dough. Spread the jam evenly on top of the dough. It is better to take jam with sourness, then the pie will not be too sweet.
Cover the jam evenly over the whole layer of dough so that it does not flow over the sides, and then randomly lay the second part of the dough on top. It is possible to make «sausages» and lay out either an inscription, or make «lattice» or just mold some faces. Put the pie in an oven heated to 200 degrees and bake until browning.
