Fruit tart

While the fruit season is in full swing, it's a sin not to make such a delicious and flavorful pie. Delicate, airy pastry and lots of fruit - a very beautiful and pleasant combination! You can cook the pie with apples, figs, peaches, apricots ... BUT! The most delicious pie is made with plums. Plums give amazing juiciness.
The recipe is very quick and easy.

For the pie we will need:

  • 350 grams of sugar (2-2.5 tbsp.);
  • 350 grams of margarine or butter;
  • 400 grams of flour (3.5 tbsp.);
  • 5 eggs;
  • 1 bag of leavening agent (I have 10 grams);
  • vanillin (I have essence);
  • 1/3 teaspoon of baking soda with vinegar;
  • 1 kg of plums (for stuffing)

Preparing the fruitcake:

Whisk the eggs, add sugar and melted margarine. Next add sifted flour and mix well. Then add the baking powder, vanilla and baking soda. Mix everything well (I used a mixer), getting a beautiful, very flavorful thick mass.

Pour the batter onto a baking tray lined with baking paper. Flatten the batter all over the baking tray. Divide the plums into halves, removing the pips. And lay them all over the pie, pressing them in slightly. This is how beautiful it turns out (the quality of the photo is from my phone):

Send to a preheated oven at 180 degrees for about 35-45 minutes (watch for doneness, it took me about an hour to bake).

The cooled finished pie can be sprinkled with powdered sugar.

Sprinkle with powdered sugar.

You can also make this pie with other fruits or berries. I tried it with apples and plums and figs.

Have a good appetite! ;)

Cake with egg yolks

The cupcake turns out moderately sweet and crumbly. I leave it in a tightly sealed container overnight, and in the morning it turns into a delicate, melt-in-your-mouth dessert. I add homemade candied oranges and their syrup to the dough, but you can add chocolate in drops, berries, dried fruits, zest, and in general, anything you like. Enjoy experimenting!"

Turkish bagel simit

«To the Turks, simit – what baguette is to the French. It's not just a bread. It's a way of life. They start their mornings with simit, they eat simit at noon and get a good energy boost... Crunchy sesame, slightly sweet browned crust, incredibly tender «creamy» crumb – for the sake of simit, it is worth it to mess with the dough! Especially since the process is not very long and complicated.

Cinnamon braid

The dough is very quick to prepare, the only skill required is to roll the roll into a braid and a ring. But even that is harder to describe than to do. The dough is moderately sweet and moderately fluffy, but flavorful and tender. In general, for a family tea party – very worthy company.
