Strawberry pie
Italian pie (tarte) is very easy to prepare. The crust is dense and flavorful, and the strawberries are soft and jammy. The pie looks quite elegant.
Compound (for a 22-24 cm mold):
- flour – 1,5 tbsp.
- butter – 90 gr.
- sugar – ¾ tbsp.
- eggs – 2 pcs.
- leavening agent – 1,5 tsp.
- salt – ¼ tsp.
- cinnamon – 1 tsp.
- milk – 2 tbsp.
- strawberries
Cooking:
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.
Mix together the sifted flour, baking powder, cinnamon and salt.
In a separate bowl, beat the butter and sugar with a mixer. Add the eggs, milk and beat a little more.
Mix the egg and butter mixture into the dry ingredients.
Oil the baking mold and spread the batter evenly over the mold.
Wash the strawberries, cut them into halves and place them on top of the dough, pressing them firmly against the dough.
Bake for about 30-35 minutes. Check for doneness with a wooden skewer.
After the tart has cooled slightly, sprinkle with powdered sugar.
