Bagels made of cottage cheese dough with cherries
Simple but very tasty bagels. The curd dough – flavorful, unusually soft and tender. The filling can be any kind of filling: berries, jam, etc.
.
Constituents:
- non-fat cottage cheese – 250 gr.
- sugar – 100 gr.
- vegetable oil – 100 gr.
- egg – 1 pc.
- leavening agent – 1 sachet (15 gr.)
- flour – 350 gr.
- jam or berries for the filling
Cooking:
Add sugar, egg, oil, baking powder to cottage cheese and mix well. Gradually add the sifted flour and knead an elastic dough until it is no longer sticky. After that roll the dough into a lump, wrap it in foil and put it in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
Then divide the dough into 2 equal parts and roll them into lumps. On a flour-dusted table roll one lump into a round cake. Divide the flatbread diagonally into 8 segments.
Place filling (I have cherries in their own juice) on the wide part of each segment.
Twist the bagels, wrapping the filling inside.
Grease a baking tray with oil and place the bagels on it about 5 cm apart.
Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees until browned – about 20 minutes.
Bon appetit!
