Pita rolls "A la shawarma"
It's a tasty alternative to a sandwich – it's easy to take on the road or on a picnic. It's easy to prepare - you can wrap any products in pita bread depending on your preferences and the contents of your refrigerator.
Composition:
- pita – 2 sheets
- cheese – 100 gr.
- sausage – 50-100 gr.
- cucumber – 1 pc.
- mayonnaise
Cooking:
Cut the pita into squares with a side of about 15 cm.
Cut the filling into medium cubes.
Place a strip of mayonnaise and stuffing on one side of the pita.
Wrap the pita in a roll, tucking one edge inward so that the filling does not leak out when eating.
You can use any other stuffing – ketchup, boiled eggs, tomatoes, bacon, canned fish, seaweed, etc. and combine at your discretion.
