Corn grits soup
A simple and hearty soup.
Constituents:
- pork ribs (or other meat) - 250 gr.
- potatoes - 3 pcs.
- carrots - 1 piece
- onion - 1 pc.
- corn grits - 1 handful
- salt, pepper - to taste
Preparation of soup with corn groats:
Wash the meat, cut into portions, pour water and put on the fire.
When the water boils, remove the foam, reduce the heat and simmer for about 25 minutes.
Grate the carrots, finely chop the onion and cut the potatoes into bars.
Add the onions and carrots to the boiling broth, cook for about 15 minutes, then add the potatoes.
Cook the potatoes until half-cooked, then add the washed groats.
Cook the soup until all the ingredients are ready.
When serving the soup you can sprinkle it with chopped herbs.
