Tender cottage cheese casserole
A very delicate and delicious cottage cheese casserole - something between a cheesecake and a cottage cheese soufflé. Like a soufflé, it rises very high when baked and settles slightly after cooling. The casserole is very simple and quick to prepare, but it will be a worthy treat for both guests and family. Thanks to Ira for the recipe!
Compound (for a 27 cm mold):
- soft cottage cheese - 650 gr.
- eggs - 5 pcs.
- sugar - 6 tbsp.
- sour cream - 200 gr.
- starch - 3 tbsp.
- natural vanilla sugar - 1 tsp.
Preparation of tender cottage cheese casserole:
Separate the whites from the yolks.
To the yolks add cottage cheese, sugar, sour cream, vanilla sugar and starch and beat thoroughly with a mixer.
Whisk the whites until stiff peaks.
Add the whites to the cottage cheese mixture and mix gently.
Grease a baking dish with butter and dust lightly with flour.
Place the curd mass in the mold and bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees until cooked - about 1 hour.
Cool the finished casserole slightly in the mold and remove.
Enjoy!"
