Open pie with green onions and eggs
A delicious pie – the pastry and the filling work well together. If you use ready-made store-bought pastry, the pie is very quick to prepare.
The pie is delicious.
Constituents:
- yeast puff pastry – 250 gr.
- green onions – 500 gr.
- egg – 4 pcs.
- butter – 50 gr.
- salt – about 0,5 tsp.
Cooking:
Prepare yeast puff pastry. You can use store-bought puff pastry as well.
Peel and chop the green onions. In a skillet, melt butter and place the onions. On high heat, fry the onions, stirring, until they become soft and lose volume. Under no circumstances, do not bring to browning. As soon as the onions soften, beat 4 eggs into the skillet, salt and stir. Remove from the heat immediately.
Roll the dough into a layer slightly larger than the baking dish and place in the dish. Place the filling on top and flatten. Fold the edges of the pastry over the filling.
Put the pie in a preheated oven heated to 200~220 degrees and bake until the pastry is brightly browned – about 25-35 minutes.
