Sand cookies "Sable with confit".
A very interesting and dressy cookie. Preparation requires not so much effort as time. But your efforts will be rewarded by the surprised looks of your loved ones who will try the cookies. Good emotions are guaranteed. The recipe is from the book by Fyodor Evsevsky "Eating in French".
Constituents:
- flour - 600 gr.
- sugar - 150 gr.
- vegetable oil - 150 gr.
- eggs – 3 pcs.
- vanilla sugar - 8 gr.
- leavening agent - 10 gr.
- confiture, chocolate paste, «Nutella» or jam
Cooking:
In a bowl, beat eggs with vegetable oil, regular and vanilla sugar. Gradually add the sifted flour and baking powder.
Baking powder.
Punch out the dough for a few minutes and mold it into a ball.
Separate one third of the dough, roll out into a layer 3-4 mm thick and cut out circles from the dough with a special mold or a glass. In the center of half of the circles, cut out a circle or other shape with a shot glass or a smaller diameter mold
.
Heat the oven to 170C.
Grease a baking tray with butter or cover with parchment paper. Place circles of dough on the tray and bake until lightly browned – about 10 minutes. Remove the cookies from the oven and cool.
Allow to cool.
To assemble, spread the circles without holes with confit, jam or chocolate paste and cover the cookies on top with the circles with holes.
