Pizza with pumpkin, goat cheese and ham
I never stop discovering new facets of such a wonderful vegetable as pumpkin. This time I made pizza according to the recipe from the magazine "Gastronom" - I could not pass by the combination of my favorite dish and favorite vegetable, a little modified the recipe to suit myself and it turned out very tasty. My husband and sister, who are not at all delighted with pumpkin, swallowed the pizza in seconds. Well and as always with pizza - everything can be replaced, added and combined depending on your mood. Just please leave the pumpkin out of the dish - it's absolutely delicious.
Constituents (for 4 small pizzas):
Dough:
- flour - 300 gr.
- dry yeast - 6 gr.
- olive oil - 25 gr.
- curcuma - 1 tsp.
- sea salt - 8 gm .
stuffing:
- pumpkin pulp - 200 gr.
- soft goat's cheese - 350 gr.
- cheese-smoked ham - 100 gr.
- balsamic vinegar - 1 tbsp.
- onion - 1 onion
- olive oil
- salt, pepper
- ruccola for serving .
Cooking pizza with pumpkin, goat cheese and ham:
In a large bowl, sift flour and yeast and mix.
Pour in 150-200 ml of warm (not hot!) water mixed with salt and olive oil, add the turmeric and knead into a smooth, uniform dough.
Wrap the dough in cling film or a towel, place it in a warm place and let it rise for 30 minutes.
While the dough is coming up, roast the pumpkin. To do this, cut the pumpkin into small cubes, drizzle with olive oil and vinegar, season with salt and pepper. Place the pumpkin in a heatproof mold and bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees Celsius until desired softness - about 15-20 minutes.
Knead the risen dough and divide into 4 parts.
Knead each slice into a 7-8 mm thick flatbread and drizzle with olive oil.
Make a few punctures in the flatbreads with a fork and bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees Celsius for about 10-15 minutes.
Bake in a preheated oven for about 10-15 minutes.
Sprinkle the finished flatbreads with olive oil, top with thinly sliced onions, cheese slices and pumpkin and place in the oven for 3-5 minutes.
Garnish the finished pizza with arugula, place the ham on top, season with salt and pepper, and serve.
