Poppy seed roll
A flavorful tender roll with poppy seed filling.
Composition:
for the dough you will need:
- - 250 grams of warm milk;
- - 2 eggs;
- - 60 g. butter;
- - 1 tsp. dry yeast;
- - 2 tbsp. sugar;
- - 2 tbsp. sunflower oil;
- - 500 g. flour;
for the filling:
- - 1 tbsp. poppy seeds;
- - sugar;
Poppyseed should be washed and boiled, then drain the water. Transfer the poppy to a combine or coffee grinder and grind with sugar
Poppy seed roll preparation:
Knead the dough (it should not be steep), put it in a warm place for 60 minutes. The dough should increase in volume by 2 times. After that, roll out the dough on a table. Distribute the poppy seeds all around the perimeter of the dough, then roll it into a «sausage». Let the product stand for 10 minutes, then brush with beaten egg, put in the oven and bake until ready.
