Roll with apples and nuts
This is a very tasty roll. The dough is very tasty and the filling is tender and melting in your mouth. The roll is easy to prepare, but I'm sure you will be pleased with the result.
Constituents:
dough
- Margarine or butter – 200g .
- sour cream – 200 gr.
- flour – approximately 350 gr.
- leavening agent – 1 tsp.
stuffing
- – 7-8 large apples
- sugar – 6 tbsp.
- walnuts – 200 gr.
- cinnamon
Cooking:
Mix together the margarine, sour cream and baking powder. Gradually add the sifted flour to make a soft and elastic dough. Roll the dough into a lump and place in the fridge for about 1 hour.
At this time prepare the filling. To do this, peel the apples and grate them on a coarse grater. If the apples are very juicy, squeeze out the juice so that the dough does not soak when cooking. Chop the nuts and add to the apples. Pour in 3 tbsp. sugar and mix well. If desired, add cinnamon to the filling.
Divide the dough into 3 parts, roll out one part of the dough and place one third of the filling on top, 4-5 cm from all edges.
Close the edges as shown in the photo. First fold the edges on both sides and then the bottom.
Roll the dough into a roll. Do the same with the other two pieces.
Line a baking tray with baking paper. Place the rolls on the baking tray seam side down and place in the oven.
Bake at 180 degrees. Once the dough starts to brown slightly, brush the top with beaten egg. This will make the crust of the roll ruddy.
Bake until cooked through – about 30-40 minutes.
Enjoy!"
