Poppy seed roll
I want to share my mom's recipe - a poppy seed roll in my version.
It's quite simple to prepare - knead the yeast dough (yeast, a glass of warm milk, a few eggs, half a glass of sugar, a pinch of salt, a little butter), let it brew for 1.5-2 hours. Meanwhile, grind the poppy seeds (before that, pour boiling water over them and dry them) and mix them with powdered sugar to taste.
Roll out the infused dough so that it is shaped like a rectangle, spread it with poppy seeds, roll it into a roll and let it stand in a warm place for another 30 minutes so that it fits a little, otherwise the dough will start to crack in the oven.
And then throw the rolls into the oven. It's done! You can serve with ice cream, sprinkle the roll with powdered sugar.
