Charlotte with pears

A delicate and fluffy biscuit with pear pieces. If desired, you can increase the number of pears by cutting them into small pieces and adding them to the batter. Simple and delicious. A great bake for a family tea party.

Insert ingredients:

  • flour – 1 tbsp. + a little for powdering
  • egg – 3 pcs.
  • large pear – 2 pcs.
  • sugar – 1 tbsp.
  • butter – 1 tbsp.
  • leavening agent – 0,5 tsp.
  • salt – a pinch

Cooking charlotte with pears:

With a mixer, beat the eggs and sugar into a thick foam - it will take about 5 minutes.

Sift the flour with the salt and baking powder and gradually add to the egg mixture.

Peel the pears from the peel, keeping the «tail» of one. Leave the pear with &quot&quot" leave it whole, and cut the second one into 6 slices, removing the core.
Grease a heatproof mold with a diameter of about 24 cm with oil and sprinkle with flour. Pour the batter into the mold, place a whole pear in the middle with its tail upwards and arrange the pear slices around it, pressing them lightly into the batter.

Bake the charlotte in a preheated oven at 180 degrees Celsius for about 25-30 minutes. Check for doneness with a toothpick.
