Chocolate cake with zucchini (zucchini)
This is a very tasty chocolate-chocolate recipe: chocolate pastry with chocolate chunks inside and a chocolate glaze on top. Don't be wary of adding zucchini to the batter - it doesn't feel at all like zucchini in the finished pie, but adds a velvety moistness to it. The finished pie is rich, heavy, and somewhat similar to a brownie or chocolate cupcake. For chocolate addicts, it's hard to think of a better bake - an easy to make but delicious cake.
Composts(for a 28 cm diameter mold):
batter:
- butter - 100 gr.
- odorless vegetable oil - 100 ml
- sugar - 1 tbsp.
- vanilla sugar - 1 sachet
- baking soda - 1 tsp.
- leavening agent - 1 tsp.
- egg - 2 pcs.
- flour - 300 gr.
- sour cream - 100 ml
- cocoa powder - 6 tbsp.
- zucchini - 350 gr.
- chocolate pieces or chocolate drops - 60 g.
chocolate coating:
- cocoa powder - 3 tbsp.
- sugar - 4 tbsp.
- milk - 100 ml
- butter - 1 tbsp.
Preparation of chocolate cake with zucchini:
Peel the zucchini and grate it on a fine grater.
Beat the softened butter with a mixer.
Add the vegetable oil, sugar, vanilla and baking soda to the butter and beat everything with a mixer again.
Beat in the eggs, adding them one at a time and beating each time with a mixer.
Then add the sour cream and mix again with the mixer.
Sift the flour with the leavening agent and cocoa and add to the resulting mixture.
Mix everything together gently.
Chop the chocolate into small pieces (you can use nuts instead of chocolate, it will be delicious too).
Drain the liquid from the zucchini and add the zucchini and chocolate to the batter and mix thoroughly.
Add the chocolate and zucchini to the batter.
Grease a baking mold with butter, place the dough in it and gently flatten it.
Bake the pie in a preheated 180-200 degree oven for about 40 minutes. Check the readiness with a match – it should come out of the pie dry.
Then prepare the chocolate glaze: mix the cocoa with the sugar, add the milk and butter and bring to the boil.
Pour the hot chocolate glaze over the cooled cake.
Enjoy!"
