Royal cottage cheese pie.
This pie always turns out delicious. Tender cottage cheese filling covered with a crispy and crumbly crumb crust. It's delicious warm or cold.
Constituents (for a 22-26 cm round mold):
stuffing:
- cottage cheese - 350 gr.
- egg – 1 pc.
- sugar - to taste
batter:
- butter (very cold) - 180g .
- sugar - 100 gr.
- flour - 300 gr.
- leavening agent – 1 tsp.
Cooking:
Mix the cottage cheese with egg and sugar until smooth.
Mix flour with sugar and baking powder, add grated butter and knead into crumbs with your hands.
Sprinkle a little more than half of the crumb topping into the baking dish, lightly flatten to form a small border. Spread the cottage cheese filling over the crumble and top with the rest of the crumble.
Bake in the oven at 180 degrees Celsius for about 40-50 minutes.
