Mimosa salad

Mimosa – is a popular salad that is prepared for the holiday table. Its main components are: canned fish, eggs, mayonnaise and onions. On top of the mimosa salad is decorated with egg yolks, which makes it look like a mimosa.

Preferably the «Mimosa» salad should be served in a glass (transparent) dish so that everyone can see its layers.

Ingredients:

  • - 1 can of canned sardines;
  • - 6 hard-boiled eggs;
  • - 200 gr. of hard cheese
  • - 1 onion;
  • -mayonnaise
  • .

Preparation of salad "Mimosa":

I advise you to prepare all the ingredients in advance, and then alternately put them in a salad bowl.

Finely grate the egg whites, yolks and cheese (all in separate bowls or plates). Finely chop the onion, pour boiling water over it and let stand for 5-10 minutes to remove the bitterness. Place the canned fish on a plate and mash with a fork.

Now that all the salad ingredients are ready, arrange them in layers in this order:

2/3 of the grated proteins, then the same amount of cheese, put half a can of canned food on top of the cheese and liberally smear with mayonnaise, then put the onions, the remaining proteins and sprinkle with yolks (about 4 pieces), then put the remaining cheese and canned food. Smear it all again with mayonnaise and decorate with the remaining yolks.

Before serving, let the salad soak in the refrigerator, about 2 hours. Enjoy!"
