Choux dough for dumplings
Very tasty and tender choux pastry. Dumplings made from this dough are especially delicious with berry fillings. The dough is easy to work with, it molds well, does not tear, and is soft and tender when ready. The recipe for this dough was told to me by a beautiful girl Elena, who learned it from her mother-in-law.
Compost:
- butter - 1 tbsp .
- egg - 1 piece
- flour - about 2-3 tbsp.
- water - 1 tbsp.
- salt - a pinch
Cooking:
In a cup of boiling water, melt 1 tbsp butter and salt. Sift 1 tbsp of flour into a bowl, make a depression and pour the water into it. Mix everything quickly. Wait a few minutes for the mixture to cool slightly and add 1 egg.
Knead the dough, gradually adding flour until it becomes elastic. The amount of flour will depend on its quality.
When molding dumplings, roll out the dough not very thin, it is very easy to mold and does not tear!
You can use any filling, but very tasty from this dough are dumplings with berry fillings - cherries, strawberries, etc.
Dumplings made of this dough should be cooked for a short time - about 3-5 minutes after boiling.
