Peanut butter cookies

I already have a recipe for a very delicious peanut butter cookies on my site, but it's always interesting to try something new. This recipe was shared on her page by a lovely girl and pastry chef Sima Fomina. And, of course,  at the first opportunity, my daughter and I cooked these cookies. By the way, the dough is prepared literally 5 minutes in the kitchen machine, and then it's fun to roll «koloboks», roll in sugar and peek through the door in the oven - well, when already. In general, it actually takes longer to write than to cook.

In the original recipe, the cookies are made with chocolate, but I had salted caramel on hand and used that. And the sugar seemed a bit much to me, if you don't have a sweet tooth, reduce it. My husband and I found it quite sweet, but the baby didn't complain as he was eating his tenth cookie.

Composition (per 30 pieces):

  • cream butter - 100g
  • .
  • peanut paste - 140 gr.
  • sugar - 120 gr.
  • egg – 1 pc.
  • vanilla extract - 2 tsp.
  • flour - 200 gr.
  • leavening agent - 1 tsp.
  • sugar for sprinkling
  • black chocolate - 100 gr.

Cooking peanut butter cookies:

Whisk the slightly softened butter, peanut butter, and sugar until smooth.

Then add the egg and vanilla extract and mix.

Add the egg and vanilla extract and mix.

Pour in the sifted flour and baking powder and mix until the dough is smooth.

Add the sifted flour and baking powder and mix until the dough is uniform.

Divide the dough into 30 pieces, roll out 30 walnut-sized balls, coat in sugar and place on a baking tray lined with parchment.

Place on a parchment lined baking tray.

Bake for 10 - 12 minutes in a preheated oven at 190C. Remove from the oven, immediately make a cavity and cool on a wire rack.

Bake for 10 - 12 minutes.

Melt the chocolate and fill the recesses in the cookies. I filled the indentations with salted caramel.

Cake with egg yolks

The cupcake turns out moderately sweet and crumbly. I leave it in a tightly sealed container overnight, and in the morning it turns into a delicate, melt-in-your-mouth dessert. I add homemade candied oranges and their syrup to the dough, but you can add chocolate in drops, berries, dried fruits, zest, and in general, anything you like. Enjoy experimenting!"

Turkish bagel simit

«To the Turks, simit – what baguette is to the French. It's not just a bread. It's a way of life. They start their mornings with simit, they eat simit at noon and get a good energy boost... Crunchy sesame, slightly sweet browned crust, incredibly tender «creamy» crumb – for the sake of simit, it is worth it to mess with the dough! Especially since the process is not very long and complicated.

Cinnamon braid

The dough is very quick to prepare, the only skill required is to roll the roll into a braid and a ring. But even that is harder to describe than to do. The dough is moderately sweet and moderately fluffy, but flavorful and tender. In general, for a family tea party – very worthy company.
