Sweet pita roll with cottage cheese
I don't know about you, but it happens to me - I really want something sweet for tea, but I don't have time or desire to spend a lot of time with dough. It is in such cases that recipes "quick" hand help. My friend Toma shared one of these recipes with me. Everything is very simple - a thin pita instead of dough, and curd filling inside. And you can go put the kettle on the fire and call your family, because in a few minutes the roll will be ready.
Constituents:
- thin sheet of pita - 1 piece .
- cottage cheese - 250 gr.
- sugar - 3 tbsp.
- egg - 2 pcs.
as desired:
- vanilla
- lemon zest
- raisins
Preparation of sweet pita roll with cottage cheese:
To prepare the roll, it is better to take pasty cottage cheese. If the cottage cheese is round, then it is better to beat it with a blender beforehand to a homogeneous mass.
Mix the cottage cheese with sugar (the amount of sugar depends on your taste) and 1 egg.
If desired, you can add lemon zest, raisins or vanilla sugar to the filling.
Spread the pita sheet and spread the stuffing over it.
Roll the pita into the shape of a roll.
Grease a baking tray with oil or cover with baking paper and place the roll in it.
Separately beat the egg with a fork and brush the roll with it.
Allow the egg to set.
Bake the roll in a preheated 180 degree oven until lightly browned, about 15-25 minutes.
