Curd casserole with oatmeal and apple (diet version)

I have a lot of casserole recipes on my site, and I make a few of them very often, for example, tender casserole is adored by the whole family. But now I have to look for alternatives as I am cooking for someone who has a liver disease. In such diseases, diet number 5 is recommended. I will not list forbidden and allowed products in this diet (you can read it on specialized sites), but in this recipe I used only products allowed in the diet, avoiding forbidden flour, egg yolk, sour cream, etc.

.

It ended up being a pretty tasty and diet-friendly casserole (even my four-year-old daughter ate it, and she's a picky eater). So I'm sharing this recipe on the blog, because even if you don't need to follow a medical diet, you can always make a healthier and more diet-friendly version of the dish.

cottage cheese casserole with oatmeal and apple

Compound:

  • fat-free whey – 500 gr.
  • sugar – 1,5 tbsp.
  • oat flakes – 2 tbsp.
  • fresh apple – 1 pc.
  • protein – 2 pcs.

Cooking diet cottage cheese casserole with oat flakes and apple:

I used soft cottage cheese, but if you take a thicker, rounder cottage cheese, then beat it with a blender or pass it through a sieve.

Grate the apple, squeeze out the juice a little and add it to the curd. Add sugar and oat flakes. Please do not use instant cereal, according to gastroenterologists, they are not healthy at all. Mix everything until homogeneous. If desired, you can add cinnamon or vanilla.

In a separate bowl, whisk the egg whites to stiff peaks and gently mix into the cottage cheese mixture.

I cooked the casserole in a multicooker, having greased the bowl lightly with butter beforehand. A portion of this amount of products in a small multicooker was cooked for 40 minutes in baking mode. I then cooled the casserole without removing it from the multicooker for about 20 minutes before carefully removing it to a plate.

If you don't have a multicooker, you can cook the casserole as usual, in the oven. Cook at 170C for about 30 minutes, but you can determine its readiness by yourself.

Tasty, very tender and quite easy to prepare yeast baked goods, moderately sweet and very soft. The recipe for hala was shared on Olga Pekarko's page, and Olga knows a lot about buns. With a piece of butter, jam or just with tea, it's delicious!

Cake with egg yolks

The cupcake turns out moderately sweet and crumbly. I leave it in a tightly sealed container overnight, and in the morning it turns into a delicate, melt-in-your-mouth dessert. I add homemade candied oranges and their syrup to the dough, but you can add chocolate in drops, berries, dried fruits, zest, and in general, anything you like. Enjoy experimenting!"

Turkish bagel simit

«To the Turks, simit – what baguette is to the French. It's not just a bread. It's a way of life. They start their mornings with simit, they eat simit at noon and get a good energy boost... Crunchy sesame, slightly sweet browned crust, incredibly tender «creamy» crumb – for the sake of simit, it is worth it to mess with the dough! Especially since the process is not very long and complicated.

Cinnamon braid

The dough is very quick to prepare, the only skill required is to roll the roll into a braid and a ring. But even that is harder to describe than to do. The dough is moderately sweet and moderately fluffy, but flavorful and tender. In general, for a family tea party – very worthy company.
