Cheesecake buns

The buns in this recipe are soft, with a slightly moist crumb and a pleasant cottage cheese flavor. They retain their flavor and softness when heated in the microwave. It's delicious cut lengthwise, spread with butter and serve with tea.

cottage cheese scones

Constituents (for 8-12 buns):

  • cottage cheese - 200 gr.
  • butter - 50 gr.
  • egg – 1 pc.
  • leavening agent – 1,5 tsp.
  • flour - 200 gr.
  • sugar – 3 tbsp. (you can use more)
  • salt - a pinch

Cooking:

Melt the butter and cool slightly. Mix the cottage cheese with the egg, butter, sugar, salt and baking powder. Gradually add the sifted flour to make a soft, slightly sticky dough. Roll round buns out of the dough and place on a baking tray.
Bake in the oven at 180 degrees for 15-20 minutes.
