Canapés with herring "under vodka"
These canapés are very easy to prepare and taste quite nice, especially for herring lovers. One note – they should be cooked just before serving, otherwise the crouton will soften and no longer be crispy.
Composition:
- bread – a few slices
- herrings – 1 piece .
- onion – 1 piece .
Preparation:
Cut the bread into portioned slices or use a mold to cut slices out of the bread. I used for making these canapés bread slices, which was left after cooking eggs with croutons «French-style».
Fry bread in a frying pan in vegetable oil on both sides. Put a piece of herring on the bread, a circle of onion, if desired, you can add greens.
