Herring and potatoes appetizer.
This is a variation on the familiar jacket potatoes and herring. It's simple to prepare, but looks more attractive on the table than the traditional way of serving.
Composition:
- salted herring – 1 pcs.
- potatoes – 4 large tubers
- green onion – 5 feathers
- vegetable oil
- vinegar
Cooking:
Wash the potatoes thoroughly and boil them without peeling them until tender, without allowing them to boil. Cool the potatoes, peel off the skin and cut into plates.
Clean herring from skin and bones, cut into small pieces.
Place potato and herring pieces alternately on the dish, spray with vegetable oil and vinegar, sprinkle with chopped green onions.
Enjoy!
