Jamie Oliver's beet gravlax

Semmon, salmon or trout – it's always delicious, and if you cook it according to Jamie Oliver's recipe, no one will be left indifferent! It's simple and quick, as always with Jamie, but delicious. I advise you to remember this recipe, because the New Year and a lot of holidays are just around the corner.

American pumpkin pie

Do you still have pumpkin left? If so, make this pie right away. It's well worth the wait so you don't have to put off making it until next pumpkin season. The pie is simply magical, very flavorful and delicate like baked cream. For pumpkin lovers, and even for non-pumpkin lovers, this is a great treat.  Pumpkin pie is a great treat.

Mackerel marinated in tea brine

This is probably one of the most delicious marinades for fish - it turns out very tender, with a light golden-brownish color, and in appearance and even taste resembles cold-smoked mackerel. At the same time, it does not contain harmful additives, like store-smoked fish. The only difficulty is that fish marinates for 3-4 days, and you want to try it as soon as possible. But your patience will be rewarded in full - with boiled potatoes and pickled onions, it's just a pleasure.

Pampushki with jam

At home in Crimea we always had 12 Lenten dishes for Christmas, of which kutya was obligatory and indispensable. But when I went to Lviv for Christmas, I learned that the second obligatory Christmas dish is pampushki with jelly, which are called pampukhi there. These are oil-fried patties made of yeast dough and filled with thick jam or povidla. I admit, it is very caloric, but also very tasty. The dough in pampushki is very soft and tender. Keep in mind, the thicker the filling, the less the dough will soften, it is ideal to take jam. In general, expand your Christmas menu with pampushki - they are delicious and will please everyone!

Rum Baba

I was quite satisfied with my first experience - the dough of my "baba" turned out loose and airy, the impregnation made it juicy and flavorful. Of course, there is still room for improvement to replicate the store-bought analog, but the trial is good. Try to add raisins or candied fruits, they will be very appropriate here. By the way, you can take such a baba with you when you visit, which is especially important for the New Year and Christmas holidays.

Waffle cake with condensed milk and almonds

I'm not a student anymore, but sometimes I remember my student years - with interesting and not so interesting lectures, constant queuing at the university canteen and penny prices for food, and a dormitory with a common kitchen and simple dishes that we managed to cook on it. There was no oven in the dormitory, and after hard classes sometimes I wanted to treat myself to something tasty and sweet, but not requiring baking. Such simple and quick recipes came to the rescue, based on the principle - spread and eat, and the dishes turned out very tasty. I used to make this waffle cake sometimes, and I like it even now, because who doesn't like boiled condensed milk?

New Year's 3-D cookies

I have many different cookie recipes, and this recipe for thin shortbread cookies probably won't surprise anyone. But thanks to molds that allow you to fold the cut-out cookies after baking like a constructor and make them three-dimensional, the cookies immediately come to life and become interesting. And if you decorate it with colorful sugar icing, the cookies will perfectly decorate the New Year or Christmas table.

Salad with pumpkin, feta and jamon

I love tomato and cucumber salad in the summer, but in the winter it's impossible to make it with plastic vegetables. But in the winter, pumpkin - a charming redheaded beauty that can be used to make both lunch and dessert - takes the stage. In salads pumpkin is wonderful and completely unrecognizable - when marinating it is filled with the aroma of garlic and piquancy of vinegar and successfully copes with the main role in the salad. In company with feta, ham, arugula and olives, pumpkin creates a very tasty and flavorful salad, which is eaten even by ardent non-pumpkin lovers.

Sacher cake

It's getting much colder outside and instantly my body switched from light summer desserts to heavy, hearty cakes. I've been planning to make the famous Viennese cake "Sacher" and just then a jar of apricot jam appeared in the fridge. The cake, because of its dryness and chocolate coating, can keep for a long time - I think it will keep for a week in the fridge.

Jamie Oliver's retro pork chops with apples and sage

I've written before that I don't like meat + fruit combinations, at least not something as trivial as chicken and pineapple. However, after cooking beef with plums I fell in love with the combination of meat and fruit, and this dish won not only me, but my husband as well. I think apples and pork are just made for each other! Juicy, appetizing meat and tender apples - dinner will be very tasty, I guarantee! It's easy to make and takes about 30 minutes to prepare.

Beet salad with goat cheese and basil dressing

Very tasty, but based on the ingredients it's a bit of a winter salad - in winter you usually have all the ingredients. I was going to dress the salad with pesto, but there was only purple basil at home, and I found a bunch of arugula, so I changed my plans. I recommend you to make the dressing with green basil, it looks more aesthetically pleasing. If you don't eat goat cheese, use feta or feta cheese.

Warm pork salad with fried cucumber

Many people who hear the phrase "fried cucumber" are stunned and bewildered. But try fried cucumber yourself - it's delicious and not even very exotic, although it is often used in oriental cuisine, such as Chinese. This salad is simple, cooks quickly, turns out quite hearty and can quite satisfy hunger at lunch. I think you can successfully replace the pork with chicken, you will get a lighter version of the salad. Recipe from the master class of the culinary studio "Everybody cooks! ".

Salad with beans and croutons

I tried this salad as a guest in Western Ukraine and loved it from the first bite - spicy garlic, crunchy croutons and tender beans. The salad is easy to prepare, but it is not ashamed to put it on the table for guests. Personally, I liked it very much and as soon as I got home, I immediately cooked it. In the original recipe, the salad did not contain eggs, but they seemed appropriate here.

Pork loin roll with nuts and aromatic herbs

A very tasty meatloaf that will please even the most demanding eaters. The filling is made of "pesto" based on cashews and basil, the meat is marinated in mustard and aromatic herbs. Preparing the meat and stuffing takes some time, but then you can enjoy the delicious meat dish with pleasure. The recipe is from the master class of Kiev culinary school "Everybody cooks!".

Mackerel marinated at home

I like marinated mackerel much better than herring - it's more tender and fattier. However, store-bought mackerel often leaves a lot to be desired, so I tried marinating it myself. It turned out great - tender, flavorful and very tasty. But you need to be patient and wait until the fish is salted and marinated. And you can enjoy it! With boiled potatoes, black bread and onions - mmm, just finger-lickin' delicious!
