Uzvar of dried pears and prunes
Uzvar from dried fruit is traditionally prepared at Christmas, but you'll love it on a normal day too. Remember that ouzvar differs from the usual compote from dried fruits with a more intense flavor and aroma.
Dried fruit ouzvar.
Composition:
- dried pears - 2 handfuls
- blackberries - 2 handfuls
- sugar or honey - to taste
Pear and prune souvar:
Wash the dried fruit (dried and slightly smoked pears and prunes are used for the souzvar) thoroughly, pour 4 liters of water and cook for about 40 minutes.

If you use sugar, add it to taste, boil the soup for 1-2 minutes and turn it off. If you use honey, then cool the souzvar slightly, and then add the necessary amount of honey.
In order to get a rich flavor, it needs to infuse for 4-5 hours, after which it can be used.
