Amber jam from apple slices

This is a great apple preparation for winter - amber apple slices in a clear syrup. It's a five-minute jam - it's cooked in three batches of 5-10 minutes and then sealed in jars for storage. My mother shared the recipe for this delicious jam.

apple slices jam

Composition:

  • apples - 1 kg
  • sugar - 800-g -1 kg
  • water - 100 ml

Cooking amber jam from apple slices:

For making this jam you can use any kind of apples, but it is better to take apples with dense flesh.
Wash the apples, clean them from the seed pods and cut them into slices.
Boil syrup from sugar and water, pour hot syrup over apples and immediately put on fire.
When the syrup with apples boils, keep it on the fire for about 5 minutes and put it aside until it cools down.
Then repeat this procedure two more times, each time boiling the jam for no more than 5-10 minutes.
After the third boiling hot jam put it into prepared sterile jars and close them with lids.
Turn the jars with the lids down and wrap until they cool down completely.
Bon appetit!

This salad came in handy during zucchini season when we needed to utilize them immediately. We recently opened the first jar and it was immediately empty. It was very tasty and savory, so don't miss this appetizer in the summer season.

Pickled plums

Do not cook plums with this recipe! It's a real drug! But if you do decide to make them, the recipe is below, but don't say I didn't warn you! Better yet, make a double batch at once.

Granola

You can change the composition of granola to suit you, I've added the goodies I love and the goodies I want to use but don't eat pure, like flax and pumpkin seeds. I use it very simply: pour it in yogurt or ryazhenka – and breakfast is ready! But you can also add it to cottage cheese, or sprinkle it on top of a pie, or even make a salad.

dried bell peppers

This is a terrific appetizer, can be used for bruschetta or added to unsweetened baked goods (bread, pizza, rolls), or can be munched just from the jar.

An awesome appetizer.
