Dniester salad

I used to order this salad in the university canteen when I was a student, and recently I remembered it and decided to make it at home. Of course, it is not a salad, its taste is quite predictable, but for a variety of winter menu, when the assortment of fresh vegetables is not as rich as in summer, you can make it.

salad Dniester

Composition:

  • white cabbage - 300 gr.
  • raw smoked sausage (or boiled) - 150 gr.
  • green peas - 0,5 cans
  • mayonnaise - 100 gr.
  • salt, pepper - to taste

Preparation of salad "Dnestr":

Shred the cabbage finely, salt it and shake it with your hands so that it emits juice (this will make it more tender).
Slice the sausage (or dice it, as I did) and add it to the cabbage. Pour the peas in as well.
