Eggplant fried in batter
Even those who don't like eggplants cooked in this way are happy to eat them. The dish turns out hearty and tasty, the neutral taste of eggplant is enriched with your favorite spices.
Composition:
- eggplants – 2 pcs.
- eggs – 3 pcs.
- flour – about 5 tbsp.
- salt, seasonings
Cooking eggplant fried in batter:
Cut young, not very large eggplants into circles no more than 0.5 cm wide.
Cut the eggplants into circles.
Whisk eggs with a fork, add salt and seasonings to taste. I recommend adding dried oregano, basil, and ground black pepper. Gradually add the flour to the eggs until the batter reaches the consistency of thick sour cream.
Dip eggplant in batter and fry in vegetable oil on both sides until browned.
If desired, you can sprinkle the cooked eggplants with finely chopped garlic.
