Meat stewed in tomato sauce
An elementary meat recipe. Cooked meat turns out juicy, flavorful, with a slight tomato sourness.
Composition:
- meat – 500 gr.
- onion – 2 pcs.
- tomato juice – 1,5-2 tbsp.
Cooking:
Cut meat (you can take any moderately fatty meat) into small pieces.
Fry finely chopped onion in vegetable oil in a thick-walled pan. When the onion becomes golden color, put the meat and fry on all sides on high heat for 3-4 minutes. After that pour tomato juice into the pot, add salt, pepper, spices to taste (dried oregano, basil, ground bay leaf) and stew the meat until ready.
Serve with a side dish of cereals, pasta or potatoes.
