Boiled green beans
This isn't even a recipe, it's an idea. This is how young juicy beans are cooked in the Crimea. It makes a tasty and healthy side dish for meat or fish, or just a healthy snack, as such beans are eaten very quickly and unnoticeably.
Insert ingredients:
- young beans in pods
- salt
Cooking boiled beans:
It is necessary to take fresh young beans in pods. Overripe beans will not work, as they have hard films in the pod and are not tasty at all.
Wash the bean pods thoroughly, pour cold water over them and put them on the fire. When the water boils, reduce the heat and cook until ready - about 20-30 minutes. The beans should not boil, but should become soft.
Cover the beans with cold water so that they don't lose their bright green color and drain them in a colander.
When serving, sprinkle the beans with salt.
