Pork ribs in tomato sauce
Pork ribs cooked according to this recipe turn out juicy and delicious. Tomato and soy sauces make the dish piquant. You can use any kind of garnish – potatoes, cereals, vegetables or simply wash them down with beer.
Constituents:
- ribs – 700 gr.
- onions – 3 pcs.
- lemon – 0,5 pcs.
- soy sauce – 2 tbsp.
- tomato paste – 3 tbsp.
- vegetable oil – 2 tbsp.
- salt, pepper to taste
Cooking:
Wash the ribs and cut into portioned pieces, salt and pepper them.
Mix vegetable oil with the juice of half a lemon, add soy sauce and red hot pepper. If desired, you can add sesame, garlic or other spices. Dip the ribs well in the sauce, put them in a plastic bag and pour the rest of the sauce over them. Put the ribs to marinate in the refrigerator for 3-5 hours, but you can also leave them overnight.
Then fry the ribs in vegetable oil until browned. Place them in a heatproof dish.
Peel and finely chop the onions.
Fry the onions in the pan in which the ribs were fried in the fat that melted off of them.
Add the sauteed onions to the ribs and saute together for 5 minutes.
Dilute the tomato sauce with a cup of boiling water and pour it over the ribs.
Place the ribs to braise over medium heat until the liquid has evaporated to half of its original volume.
Serve with a side dish or as a separate entree.
