Frittata with salmon and Brussels sprouts
Italian frittata is an omelette with various additions, baked in the oven or under the grill. It is a very quick, tasty and hearty dish, suitable for breakfast and dinner. If desired, the composition can be changed to suit your taste - add pepper, cheese or sausage. Experiment and everything will work out!
Composition:
- eggs - 6 pcs.
- salmon fillet (or other red fish) - 300 gr.
- cream 20% - 250 ml
- Brussels sprouts - 250 gr.
- onion - 1 piece
- olive oil - 1,5 tbsp.
- salt, black pepper - to taste .
Preparation of frittata with salmon and Brussels sprouts:
Peel the Brussels sprouts from the dark top leaves, wash, and cut the large heads into two pieces. Slice the onion into thin half rings.
Heat 1 tbsp of olive oil in a skillet and fry the salmon fillets on both sides for 2-3 minutes
In the skillet where the fish was frying, pour in the remaining oil and fry the onions until soft.
Then add the Brussels sprouts and stir-fry for about 5 minutes - until half cooked.
Crack the eggs into a bowl, add the cream, salt and pepper and use a whisk to mix everything until smooth.
Chop the fish into small pieces, removing the bones.
Place the fish in the pan with the onions and Brussels sprouts and stir to combine. Fill everything with the egg mixture and place on the stove for 3-4 minutes to allow the mixture to set from the edges. Then place the pan in a preheated oven heated to 180 degrees Celsius for 5-6 minutes.
