Cutlets baked in the oven
The cutlets are easy to make and even quicker than regular pan-fried cutlets. The cutlets turn out less fatty, juicy and tasty, with a ruddy crust.
Compost:
- minced meat – 800 gr.
- onion – 2 pcs.
- egg - 2 pcs.
- milk – about 0,5 tbsp.
- breadcrumbs – 2 handfuls
- breadcrumbs
Cooking:
Pour milk over white breadcrumbs and keep them until they soften.
Peel the onions and grind them in a meat grinder or grate them, in the extreme case – chop them as finely as possible. Add onions and eggs to the minced meat. Softened breadcrumbs soften with a hand or fork and add to the mince, squeezing out excess liquid. Salt and pepper the minced meat, add ground bay leaf.
Cover a baking tray with foil. Form cutlets, roll them in breadcrumbs and place on the tray.
Bake the cutlets in a preheated 180 degree oven until cooked – about 50-60 minutes. Serve with a side dish or salad.
Bon appetite!
