Lazy stuffed cabbage
Lazy stuffed cabbage is easier and quicker to prepare than regular stuffed cabbage, but it's just as delicious. The stuffed cabbage is juicy, soaked in the flavor of tomato and sour cream sauce. No garnish is needed for lazy stuffed cabbage, they are quite an independent and self-sufficient dish.
Constituents (for 20-25 pieces):
- white cabbage – 500 gr .
- minced meat – 500 gr.
- carrots - 2-3 pcs.
- onion - 1 pc.
- rice – 1 tbsp.
- egg – 1 pc.
- sour cream - 250 gr.
- tomato paste or tomato sauce - 3 tbsp.
- salt, pepper – to taste
Cooking:
Rinse the rice and pour cold water so that it is about 2 cm above the level of rice. Salt the rice and put it on the stove. When the water boils, reduce the heat to low and cook the rice until all the liquid has evaporated.
Cut the cabbage, onion and carrots into several pieces and put through a large meat grinder.
In the resulting mass put minced meat, egg, rice, salt and pepper the mass.
Make large cutlets from the minced meat and vegetables, place them in a baking tray with high sides in one row.
For the sauce, dilute the sour cream with water in a ratio of 1 to 1 (for 250 grams of sour cream take 250 grams of water), add tomato paste or sauce and mix well.

Pour sauce over stuffed cabbage so that they are almost completely covered with it. If there is not enough sauce, make an additional batch.
Add more.
Put the stuffed cabbage into a preheated oven at 200 degrees and bake until cooked through - about 40-45 minutes.
Serve with sour cream.
