Vegetable casserole of sauerkraut with potatoes
A quick and easy casserole recipe for vegetable lovers. A simple side dish for meat or just an idea for a vegetable dinner. Recipe from the magazine "Gastronom'".
Composition:
- potatoes – 3 pcs.
- onion – 1 pcs.
- squashed cabbage - 200 gr.
- eggs – 2 pcs.
- ground paprika - 1 tsp.
- butter – 2 tbsp.
- salt
Preparation of potato and sauerkraut casserole:
Peel and finely chop the onion.
Heat butter in a frying pan and fry the onion for 2 minutes.
Squeeze the cabbage, add it to the onions and cook for another 2 minutes.
Peel the potatoes and grate them on a coarse grater.
Mix the cabbage with onions and potatoes, beat in eggs and mix thoroughly.
Place the cabbage-potato mixture in a baking dish, smooth the surface and sprinkle with ground paprika.
Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees Celsius for about 25 minutes. Cool slightly, slice and serve.
