Pork ribs in creamy mushroom sauce
The sauce has a rich, creamy mushroom flavor that pairs perfectly with tender, moderately fatty meat.
Composition:
- pork ribs – 600 gr.
- mushrooms – 200 gr.
- cream – 250 ml
- onion – 1 large piece
- white dry wine - 150 ml
- salt, pepper – to taste
Cooking:
Cut pork ribs or any other pork meat into portioned pieces and fry in a frying pan in vegetable oil.

After roasting, transfer the meat to another dish, salt, pepper and cover with a lid.
Peel onions and mushrooms, cut mushrooms in half, onions in half rings. Fry onions and mushrooms in the fat left after frying meat. If the mushrooms produce a lot of liquid, drain it.
Once the mushrooms and onions are sauteed, pour the cream and wine into the skillet.
Season the sauce with salt and pepper, place the meat in it and braise it for a few more minutes until the sauce has boiled down by about a third.
For a side dish, mashed potatoes, spaghetti, etc.
would be ideal.
