Cauliflower in batter
A simple but delicious dish. It's a hearty yet light dish.
Constituents:
- cauliflower – 0,5 heads
- eggs – 3 pcs.
- flour – 3-4 tbsp.
- milk – 2 tbsp.
- salt, spices to taste
Cooking cauliflower in batter:
Take the cauliflower into florets and boil in salted water until tender (5-7 minutes), without boiling. Remove the cauliflower, cool and dry.
Whisk eggs, add flour and milk, salt, pepper, add dried basil and oregano. The consistency of the batter should resemble not very thick sour cream. If the batter is very runny, add more flour.
Dip cabbage florets in batter and fry on all sides in vegetable oil until browned.
