Whey pancakes
The whey left over from making homemade cottage cheese does not need to be poured out. It can be used for a variety of dishes, including pancakes.
Constituents:
- whey - 500 ml
- flour - 9 tbsp with a large slide
- eggs - 2 pcs.
- sugar - 3 tbsp.
- salt - a pinch
- leavening agent - 1/3 tsp.
- flavorless sunflower oil - 4 tbsp .
Cooking pancakes on whey:
Sift the flour into a bowl, add the sugar, salt, leavening agent and eggs, stir everything together. Without stopping stirring, gradually add the whey. Leave the dough to rise for 30 minutes.
Then add vegetable oil and stir.
Heat a frying pan, grease it with vegetable oil (if you have a non-stick frying pan, you don't need to grease it any more), pour in a small ladle of batter, spread it evenly on the pan and fry on both sides until browned.
Finished pancakes can be served with sour cream, jam or your favorite topping.
Enjoy!
