Buckwheat baked in the oven
Grechaniki are meat patties made of minced meat and boiled buckwheat. This recipe makes buckwheat patties tasty, juicy and fat-free. Combined with a green salad, they're the perfect dish for a light but hearty lunch or dinner.
Grechaniki are a delicious, juicy and fat-free dish.
Composition:
- wheat groats (boiled) - 300 gr.
- stuffing (pork + beef) - 500 gr.
- stale bread - 50 gr.
- onion - 1 piece .
- egg - 1 pc.
- garlic - 3 cloves
- salt, black pepper - to taste
- sour cream - 3 tbsp.
- chmeli-suneli - 0,5 tsp.
- provane herbs - 0,5 tsp.
- water or broth — 250 ml
- sunflower oil - for greasing the tray .
Cooking buckwheat:
Rinse the buckwheat, boil until tender and cool.
Chop a slice of loaf or white bread, without soaking, in a blender or with a meat grinder into crumbs.
Onion and garlic also chop in a blender or on a meat grinder.
Add egg, cooked buckwheat, 1 tbsp. of sour cream, bread crumbs, onion, garlic, salt and pepper to the mince and mix everything thoroughly into a homogeneous mass.
From the obtained mass, form cutlets of any shape and place them on a baking tray greased with sunflower oil. From the specified amount you get about 12-16 pieces.
For the filling mix broth or water with salt, hopli-suneli, 2 tbsp. sour cream and provan herbs.
Pour the buckwheat cakes with the filling and put them in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 40-50 minutes.
Serve the cooked buckwheat with your favorite side dish or simply with a green salad.
