Kebab with aubergines
A dish of oriental cuisine. Meat is supplemented with baked eggplant, which can be used as a garnish. The dish is tasty both hot and cold.
According to the dish, the meat is complemented with baked eggplant.
Composition:
- minced meat (any) – 1 kg
- onion – 2 pcs.
- eggplant - 4-5 pcs. of medium size
- salt, pepper, ground bay leaf – to taste .
Cooking:
Grate onion on a fine grater, add minced meat, salt, pepper and ground bay leaf. Knead the mince well and form small cutlets.
Wash eggplants and cut into 3-5 pieces.
On a baking tray, alternate eggplants and cutlets, pressing them slightly against each other.
Bake the kebabs in a preheated oven at 180 degrees Celsius until cooked – about 50 minutes. Check the readiness by piercing the eggplant with a fork – if it is done without effort, the dish is ready.
