Rabbit stewed in cream in a multicooker
The rabbit meat cooked according to this recipe turns out incredibly tender and juicy, and the cream sauce perfectly complements its flavor. I highly recommend making this dish.
Constituents:
- rabbit - 1 piece .
- onion - 1-2 pcs.
- cream (fat content over 30%) - 500 ml
- salt, pepper - to taste
- vinegar - 3 tbsp.
- cream butter - 100 gr .
Cooking:
Cut the rabbit carcass into portioned pieces, pour water with vinegar (for 1 liter of water 1 tbsp. vinegar) and leave for 1-2 hours. This will help get rid of any odor that rabbit meat may have.
Then remove the meat pieces and pat dry.
Melt butter in a frying pan and fry rabbit pieces on both sides until lightly browned.
Slice the onion into half rings and fry until soft in the fat and juice left over from frying the rabbit.
Place the roasted rabbit pieces in the multicooker, sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Place the sauteed onions on top.
Fill the meat with cream.
Cook in Braise mode for 2 hours, then place on Bake mode for 40 minutes.
Serve with any garnish.
Enjoy!
