Wings in honey mustard sauce.
Something I've been blogging about lately has been all about baking. But naturally, we eat more than just sweets. I'm making amends and sharing this wonderful recipe for wings. It is very tasty, simple and quick, even beginners will not have difficulties with cooking. The wings turn out ruddy, with an appetizing fried crust - perfect for a family dinner, and for a noisy party with beer or wine.
Composition:
- chicken wings - 1 kg
- sunflower oil - 1-2 tbsp.
- butter - 30 gr.
- honey - 1 tsp.
- garlic - 2 cloves
- spicy mustard - 1 tsp.
- soy sauce - 1 tbsp.
- red pepper - as desired
- salt, pepper
Preparation of wings in honey-mustard sauce:
Wash the chicken wings well and cut them at the joints. Set the two larger pieces aside in a bowl, and discard the small phalanx or save it for the broth.
Add the wings to the broth.
Salt and pepper the wings, brush with sunflower oil and mix.
Cover a baking tray with foil or paper, place the wings on the tray and cook for about 20 minutes in a preheated 180 degree oven.
Meanwhile, prepare the sauce. For this, whisk together the melted butter, honey, garlic, mustard, pepper, and soy sauce in a blender.
10 minutes before they are ready, remove the wings from the oven and brush with the sauce. Send the wings back into the oven for 5 minutes, then repeat the brushing and back into the oven.
And then return to the oven.
Make sure the wings don't burn, as the honey in the sauce helps the meat get a golden crust, but also creates a risk of burning.
Serve hot. I served with a fresh vegetable salad, but if you want a more substantial side dish, you can make potatoes. Or you can just pour beer in glasses and enjoy, but in this case I warn you - a kilogram of wings will not be enough no matter what kind of company you have! :)
Bon appetit!
