Mackerel baked with garlic, parsley and lime
Delicious and flavorful mackerel that is very easy to prepare. A perfect dish for a light dinner.
Composition:
- mackerel - 1 pcs.
- garlic - 3 small cloves
- lime - 1 piece
- parsley - 1 small bunch
- odorless sunflower oil - 1 tbsp.
- salt, pepper - to taste
Cooking:
Defrost the mackerel, remove the gills and innards. Rinse the fish thoroughly under running water, removing the black films inside to avoid bitterness.
Salt and pepper the mackerel inside and out.
For the stuffing, chop the parsley leaves finely, add finely chopped garlic, lime zest and juice, salt pepper and sunflower oil.
Mix the stuffing and stuff the fish carcass with it.Make transverse incisions on the side of the mackerel and put a lime slice in each of them.
Allow the mackerel to be stuffed.
Wrap the fish tightly in foil and bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees Celsius for 35 minutes, then unwrap the foil and cook for another 5-10 minutes.
Serve the fish with a light vegetable salad or a side dish of potatoes.
