Pork ribs baked with pickled onions
Very tasty pork ribs that are simple to prepare. The pickled onions perfectly complement the flavor of the ribs and take away the possible excessive fat content of the pork. Simple and delicious.
Composition:
- pork ribs - 1 kg
- onion - 4 pcs
- vinegar - 3 tbsp.
- soy sauce - 3-4 tbsp.
- vegetable oil - 3-4 tbsp.
- salt, pepper - to taste
Preparation of pork ribs:
Peel the onions and slice into rings. Put the onions in a bowl, pour in the vinegar and pour about 0.5 liters of boiling water (so that the onions are covered with water). Set the onions aside for 20 minutes.
Meanwhile, divide the ribs into pieces one rib at a time. Add salt, pepper, oil and soy sauce and stir to combine.
Line a baking tray with foil, layer the pickled onions and top with the ribs in a single layer.
Cover the ribs with foil and bake in a preheated 200 degree oven for 1-1.5 hours.
Then open the foil and bake for another 10-20 minutes until browned (better to put under the grill).
Serve with a side dish or salad.
Enjoy!"
