Chinese language
The meat in this dish is very juicy, the vegetables and tongue soak up the soy sauce and create the perfect flavor combo. A recipe by my friend Christina, for which I thank her very much.
Composition:
- beef tongue – 1 piece (1 kg)
- onion – 2-3 pcs.
- bell pepper – 4-5 pcs.
- soy sauce – 4-5 tbsp.
Cooking Chinese tongue:
Wash the tongue thoroughly, pour cold water, salt, bring to a boil and cook until cooked - about 1.5-2 hours (depending on the size).
Rinse the cooked tongue immediately with cold water and peel, removing the skin. Slice the cooked meat into thin strips.
Cut the onion into half rings, peel the pepper and cut into strips.
In a pan with a little vegetable oil fry onion and pepper until soft, add tongue, soy sauce and stew for 10-15 minutes. Salt and pepper the dish if necessary.
Serve with any garnish.
