Chicken fillet with sesame sauce
This is the most delicious chicken breast I have ever eaten. I needed the following ingredients to make it:
All the ingredients are as follows.
Composition:
- 2 chicken fillets approximately 250g each
- 2 stalks of green onion
- 2 cm of ginger root
- 1 large grapefruit
- salt
- black pepper (+added some paprika)
sauce:
- 4 tbsp. sesame seeds
- 1 tsp of powdered sugar (in my version, I just added 1 tsp of sugar and stirred well)
- 1 c. 1 tsp. lemon juice
- 1 tsp. soy sauce
- 1 tbsp. dark sesame oil (I didn't have any, used corn oil)
Cooking chicken fillet with sesame sauce:
Sliced the green onions and ginger thinly. Rubbed the chicken fillets with salt, pepper and paprika, put them in a colander (I have one with optimal steamer holes, but it's better to use a sieve). Sprinkled everything with onion and ginger and put it on a pan filled halfway with boiling water. Cooked for about 30 mins.
In the meantime, I prepared the sauce.
Fry the sesame seeds for 1-2 minutes in a dry pan, grind them (preferably in a coffee grinder). Mixed lemon juice, soy sauce and 1-2 tbsp of water. Added the sugar and mixed well, then added the sesame seeds and oil.
To serve, I peeled the grapefruit and cut the fillet into slices (about 2 cm). Place the fillet and grapefruit on a plate. Serve with the sauce.
I recommend everyone to try it, the cost is minimal, the ingredients can be later replaced to taste.
Bon appetite!
